Norsk Hydro: Successful placement of new bond

Reference is made to the notification sent June 14, 2012 regarding a potential new bond issue by Norsk Hydro ASA.

Norsk Hydro ASA has successfully completed issuance of NOK 1.5 billion in the Norwegian bond market, with maturity July 5, 2019. The coupon rate is 5.40% p.a. There was considerable interest for the new issue.

As previously announced, the purpose of the bond issue is general corporate purposes.

An application will be made for the bonds to be listed at Oslo Børs.

Danske Markets and DNB Markets have acted as Joint Managers for the issuance.
